Software Prototype

I created a prototype for a new AV management software, Vectr. Hearing about the different frustrations of users from project managers to developers, my team and I gathered all necessary information to build the platform. Vectr provides a simple, structured way to organize, store, and share information required to define a standard for complex AV systems.

Software Blueprint

A Software Blueprint is a team effort. The client, designers, and developers are involved to hash out all the details and cover the entire scope of the project. The needs of the user and understanding the user journey are a top priority. There are many deep discussions that result in mutual understanding of how GUI, code, and technical requirements work together.

Hines Headquarters

Hines created a new office as their headquarters in downtown Houston. For the first time, all Houston-based employees are now housed in the office headquarters, promoting close collaboration.

Stoller Vineyards

Stoller Vineyards remodeled their tasting room to include a state-of-the-art AV system highlighting live streamed HD cameras, large format LED video walls, high-end audio and a social media wall for visitors to share their experience with a large audience. Popular public events like live music and Sunday football viewings would also be hosted in the space.

Residential Home Control

I wanted a mobile app to easily control the house alarm, view the cameras, adjust the lights, and play music in different areas of the house. Being able to customize all the details and strip away anything not essential to the daily controls of the devices was important to me.

Apple Background Music

Apple wanted to add both background music and white noise to their office in Cupertino. Depending on the amount of people and time of day, the noise on the floor would differ. Apple needed a way to easily identify the different audio zones on each floor, adjust the volume, and pick which music source to use for those zones. Additionally, system presets recall set volume levels and music sources for all zones.
